BBR at Subway Berlin

The public transport company of Berlin assigned BBR to replace their train identification system

The “Berliner Verkehrsbetriebe (BVG)” (public transportation of Berlin) awarded BBR the contract by the beginning of June. The project comprises the renewal of the train identification systems for the subway which currently operates with 620 trains.

The System which BBR will provide serves the precise detection and identification of each vehicle. The collected data will be transferred to a central system. The technique is essential for a smooth subway operation.

BVG has been a client of BBR for many years. BBR has primarily delivered several point control systems.
